Electrician 309A

Electricians lay out, assemble, test and repair electrical wiring, light-fixtures, control devices and related equipment in a variety of settings – houses, buildings, garages, warehouse and other structures. While they are employed by the electrical contractor they are usually performing their role on a third parties (customers) property or project. Electricians normally have to travel to the job site which can be a long distance from home. Electricians often work alone but most often are part of a team including supervising, training and mentoring apprentices.

Estimator/Project Manager

The estimator/Project manager (e/pm) is an important position with the company. E/PM is responsible for the evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that we know everything required to successfully bid and win the project. E/PM must aggressively follow-up with the general contractors, engineers and architects, and owners agents to ensure that bids are received. The E/PM will work with the clients representatives and agents to determine the clients needs and their requirements in order to help them find and purchase appropriate product and service by answering questions and providing detailed response. Other duties include: maintaining a throughout up to date knowledge of company and industry products and services; working un unison with the company administration and controller; assisting the controller to update and maintain costing reports.
